Mendelssohn rocks

Had a sudden urge last night to add some classical music to my laptop so spent hours ripping CD’s and re-discovering some great music.

At the moment i am listening to The Hebrides by Mendelssohn. so stirring and uplifting.

damn good read

brilliant read!I am almost at the end of what has been the best book i have read in years. I do love a good murder mystery/thriller and this one does not disappoint.

Written in Bone by Simon Beckett is fantastic. I can’t bear to finish it and leave behind the world he has created yet i can’t wait to find out “whodunnit”

I have had a very lazy day due to this book. Must do more later.

Hexagons, nintendo games and laptops

If you’re wondering what on earth i am talking about then let me enlighten you.  I have bought some lovely 5″ charm packs of material to make something with hexagons in paper piecing. Don’t worry if what i just said makes no sense: full details will follow in future posts. The only problem is that i have a butterfly mind. One day i can be passionate about sewing, the next i am creating a blog, day after playing nothing but Nintendo DS games(so addictive). Not to mention wiling away the hours on my precious laptop upon which i am creating this very long explanation.

Stick with me and we will have a roller coaster ride of my emotions.  Oh and i almost forgot to mention, I love selling online via ebay. So i hope you wont mind if i add a sneaky little plug for my listings. here goes:

a bit ugly but it should work.
